How to stay positive when the going gets tough

Are you feeling depressed, a little broken or may be alone even when surrounded by your loved ones?

Don’t think much, as we all experience like the same, at times!

How to stay positive even when the going gets tough, isn’t easy as it seems to be.

At some point in our lives, we all go through tough times and no matter how hard we try.

We get so overwhelmed by some circumstances that we can’t just escape it even if we feel like.

I believe that the best way is to keep going even if you don’t feel like. Learn to accept the truth and keep moving forward.

I know, it’s easier said than done, but if you don’t make an effort and keep worrying about what happens the next moment, you will wreck your present moment and won’t do any good to yourself.

When I see people cribbing over things they can’t change, it reminds me of a very inspiring title of a bestselling book by Dr.Robert H. Schuller, which says, “Tough times never last, but tough people do.” A title is itself so uplifting that you feel going in life without panicking about future.

Just like in tarot reading, there’s a card called “a wheel of fortune,” which keeps moving, life is just like that, it never stops.

If you want to see yourself at some level, you need to be positive first. So, here’s the list of things you need to avoid to stay upbeat about life.

Never let negative thoughts spoil your peace of mind

Often, we fall prey to negative thoughts or get overwhelmed by things that we don’t want to think. So, how to stop thinking negative?

I believe that the proven way to stay away from negativity is to train your mind to stop thinking of things that disturb your peace of mind.

Take your pen, paper, and start writing the list of things that you want to avoid or keep that list in front of you or stick it on a wall or a laptop so as to stay motivated.

#Pro Tip: Do you know, 90% of things that you stress about never exactly happen?

Where do you live: Present, past or future?

To stay more upbeat, you first have to find out where you spend most of your time.

If you are still stuck in your past or always remain worried about what will happen in the future, then you need to stop going back in time or think of the time which has not arrived yet. The best way to deal with it is – live in the present and make the most of it.

Do you simply think or overthink?

The best tip you can follow is, keep your monkey mind at bay. I don’t come from a physics background, but thoughts of Albert Einstein has always inspired me during my toughest journey.

One of his quote says, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

Let me tell you very clearly, if you overthink, you are treading the wrong way, but if you think less, then it’s ultimately good for your mental health.

Always believe that you can change the way you think with this you must read the below article:

The less is new more

Go with the flow

Life is not a bed of roses, it comes with thorns too. Highs and lows are a part of life that you cannot ignore. If you are going through a rough phase of your life, don’t worry.

But always remember, you cannot change or escape from things that are happening at the moment. The best way to overcome the toughest time is to go with the flow.

Stay motivated

Always remember, this is your life and to lead it positively, you need to feed your mind by reading motivational stories, books, or quotations. Don’t expect that someone will come and inspire you.

Take charge of your life and start your day with a thought-provoking message that keeps you upbeat and in high spirits.

Be optimistic even when you don’t feel like

Staying positive is the best therapy to beat the negative mood swings that keep hovering over your heart and mind. Even when the going seems tough, never stop ever or give up anyway. Rather look at the brighter side of things and make a difference in your lives.

Time keeps flying, and situations keep changing, so always be optimistic in every situation and start taking control of things and embrace the gift of life and keep going.

When you accept the truth that “life is inevitable” and keep going with a positive mind, you never fall, even if the toughest roadblock comes your way.

The best way to live life fully is to start seeing good in every condition, and by doing that, you just open up boulevard of opportunities for yourself despite never-ending challenges your way.

Adding on to this great post about how to stay positive, what’s helped me most is to take a step back from situations where I think I won’t succeed and say to myself “I know that it isn’t easy, but it will be worth it.”

Building positivity in life is not a one day process and requires a lot of effort and work. Even if today you felt like you could have done better but didn’t, don’t let it stop or discourage you. Every inch of the mile counts and all the little steps will take you to the place and person you need to be.

This site is a great reminder of the importance of attitude in life and how we should never stop working on ourselves, inside and out.
