How to manage Parked Domains in cPanel

A parked domain names in cPanel allow you to add a domain to your account that will be pointed to the same content as your main domain.

Consider a domain ” yourdomainname.com” which is parked on the “yourdomainname.net”. If we access yourdomainname.com it will be directed to theyourdomainname.net and you will get the same page as you see while accessing yourdomainname.net.

The parked domain should also point to the same name servers as the yourdomainname.net. The park domain name should be registered.

Adding a Parked Domain Name in cPanel

To add parked domains in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your cPanel.
  2. Click on Parked Domains icon under Domains section.
  3. Select the domain on which you wish to park. This is the domain that visitors will see when they visit the parked domain.
  4. Enter the name of the domain in the blank field.
  5. Click on Add Domain button.

Deleting a Parked Domain Name in cPanel

To delete parked domains in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your cPanel.
  2. Click on Parked Domains icon under Domains section.
  3. Click the Remove link next the parked domain that you wish to remove.
  4. Click Remove Parked Domain to confirm the removal.
